Mark Grieshop
Bio-Entrepreneur and Farm Manager

Mark is the founder and visionary of Pasture’s Delights. Raised on an east-central Indiana farm he attended Purdue University where he milked cows at night while taking classes and flight lessons during the day. He gained valuable organizational leadership experience as Purdue University Flight Team coach and valuable perspective as an airline captain union employee. For nearly 2 decades, in his “spare” time he has been studying various farming methods as well as progressive ethical business practices. As a child he remembers the at-home raw milk experience and the not-so-wonderful experience of drinking the milk at school. In 2009, he launched the herdshare program to bring that raw milk experience back to more people and continues to manage all aspects of the farm today. Possessing a real enthusiasm for farming, business, and the ideals of our Founding Fathers he combines these three passions into a dynamic vision for Pasture’s Delights.

Troy Fisher
REAL Food Activist and Business Manager

Herd Owner Troy partnered with Mark in the spring of 2012 and brought with him skills in leadership and business strategy to help the struggling fledgling farm grow into Mark's vision of a sustainable, integrated, bio-diversified operation. With a degree in business and a passion for learning, Troy's diverse background from professional training manager to retail business owner to six sigma blackbelt have all colored his contributions to the farm. With a personal heightened awareness for nutrition and health responsibility, he is an avid supporter and marketer for the mission of growing healthy, great-tasting food. By adding operations like cream separation and butter production, Troy's been able to maximize our herd efficiency without sacrificing Pasture's Delights ideals for safe, natural, sustainable food production. And who makes this cream and butter? Why Troy himself! Other roles include new sales, customer service and accounts manager, financial and business analyst, public speaker, delivery expansion networker, and implementer of various improvement initiatives on the farm. He's even been known to milk a time or two.

Carrie Fisher
Marketing Director and Delivery Coordinator

Like her husband Troy, Carrie came to Pasture's Delights for the REAL (raw) MILK and stayed to lend her expertise in Marketing to make the food grown at Pasture's Delights more accessible to more Hoosiers. In her role as delivery coordinator, she spearheads distribution to get our farm fresh products in the hands of our herd owners. She applies her knack for organization to handle a plethora of business administration responsibilities, including processing contracts and orders. Her graphic design skills have been put to use on our website, Facebook page, brochures, e-newsletter, and event promotions. She even does the heavy lifting, loading and delivering milk in the Pasture's Delights van adorned with her custom signs. Her contributions add to the sense of community that Pasture's Delights is all about.

Jordan Rose
Financial Controller

Jordan joined Pasture's Delights as a herd owner in 2013, realizing the importance of REAL food for his family. After studying Accounting and completing his MBA in Finance, Jordan was excited to offer his expertise when the farm requested help maintaining the books. His contributions have extended to tracking expenses, managing payroll, and calculating projections that can be used in future farm planning. Pasture's Delight is not your typical farm having 400+ direct customer-owners and growing. Jordan represents the interests of our herd owners to make sure we stick to our budget and mission of sustainably producing delightful food that nourishes and strengthens our community.

Kerrie Placke
Lead Dairyman and Herd Manager

Kerrie left the nursing field to pursue a calling closer to her heart at Pasture's Delights. She is sincerely interested in animal livestock production and it shows.  At her home she gardens and raises chickens, cows, pigs, and goats. She's come a long way from her first days training to milk at Pasture's Delights in the fall of 2012. Now she brings her knowledge, work ethic, and passion to the farm as she handles the day-to-day care of the lactating and dry herds, along with heading our calf-rearing program. She chips in wherever it's needed, from big picture herd health initiatives to training as the back up for inventory management and delivery. What does she love most about Pasture's Delights? "The opportunity to work with animals raised on natural fields with no pesticides."

Heath Terhune
Lead Delivery Driver and Dairyman

Heath joined Pasture's Delights in January 2013, first as a dairyman and later taking the reins as delivery driver. He's Johnny-on-the-spot and very reliable, even in the most challenging weather elements. When not on the farm, he's out building bonfires, fishing, raising pigs, or exploring nature with his young sons. What's his favorite part of the job? "I really love getting to know our herd owners and bringing REAL milk to their families." He also enjoys working outdoors with the cows out on the pasture.
