Can you make keifer in plastic containers (ie: tupperware/rubbermaid food-storage containers), or do you need to use glass (ie: mason jars)? Thanks! april

There shouldn't be any issue with using plastic, just stay away from metal.

Great video! I am working on water kefir currently, milk kefir will be my next adventure! And personally speaking I would only use glass for storage etc. Any type of plastic can leach chemicals from the plastic, which can affect the s.c.o.b.y. We make Kombucha and only use clear, never colored glass. :-) Thanks for all that you do!

You've answered a lot of questions I've been wondering about. From now on I'll stop using a metal strainer and spoon. I'm also glad to know how to store the kefir if I go on a trip. So far, I've just kept a batch fermenting so I always have some on hand. Thanks for the wonderful demonstration. Knowing this really adds to the excitement of being able to buy raw milk.

I am so happy and proud. I received my grains and am making KEFIR!! Home made Kefir is sooooo delish! Thank you again for the video and the grains...and at a good price I might add. While I waited my turn, I checked out other prices...I waited.
